Taizhou Yangtze river bridge is another extra-large span bridge after the completion of Jiangyin bridge and Runyang bridge in Jiangsu province. The total length of the bridge is 62.088 kilometers, and the whole project adopts the standard of two-way six-lane expressway. The total investment is 9.37 billion yuan, and the construction period is five and a half years. The main bridge (2x1080 meters) is a three-tower, double-span, steel box girder suspension bridge, which ranks first in the world.
