Large heading machine rock wall cutting experiment
Project name: Large Heading Machine Rock Wall Cutting Experiment – Field Test at Taiyuan Coal Mining Institute
Brief introduction:Mining and tunneling operations rely heavily on the performance of large heading machines, which are tasked with cutting through rock walls under demanding and often extreme conditions. Ensuring that these machines operate efficiently and safely requires rigorous field testing and performance monitoring.
At the Taiyuan Coal Mining Institute, a comprehensive rock wall cutting experiment was conducted using the E BZ 315 road header. The primary goal was to evaluate the machine’s cutting ability and monitor its operational performance under real mining conditions. To achieve this, Dynatronic’s RE-846U dynamic signal acquisition system was deployed directly onto the excavator’s operation table.
The RE-846U system played a critical role by wirelessly transmitting data in real time, even in the challenging environment of an active mining test site. Engineers were able to measure and record essential performance parameters while the machine was cutting through the rock wall.
During the course of the experiment, the machine and monitoring system were subjected to harsh working conditions, including intense vibration, heavy dust exposure, and elevated temperatures. Despite these challenges, the RE-846U system performed flawlessly, continuously collecting accurate data without interruption.
The valuable dataset obtained included insights into machine vibration, cutting efficiency, stress distribution, and overall operational stability. This information provided engineers with the ability to:
Assess the road header’s cutting performance and durability.
Identify areas for design improvement.
Validate the machine’s suitability for full-scale mining operations.
Confirm the RE-846U system’s resilience and reliability in extreme industrial environments.
Ultimately, the experiment not only confirmed the robust performance of the E BZ 315 road header but also demonstrated the reliability of Dynatronic’s RE-846U system as a trusted solution for field testing under severe conditions.
